What Can I Expect From the Procedure?
When you come in for a dental bridge, we will first evaluate your teeth and take X-rays to confirm that your remaining teeth are healthy and strong enough to support the bridge. If needed, we will address any existing dental issues before moving forward. The next step involves preparing the abutment teeth by gently removing some enamel. After this, we will take additional measurements and create an impression of your teeth. This information will be sent to a dental lab to create your bridge. In the meantime, a temporary bridge will be placed to maintain your smile.
Once the permanent bridge is ready, you will return to our office for the fitting. We will remove the temporary bridge and place the new one. Minor adjustments may be necessary to ensure a comfortable fit and natural appearance. We will take the time to make sure you are completely satisfied with the final result.
